Just like in a company, a concept; a well thought out basic idea that can be followed through easily is essential for designing buildings and interiors as well.
With areas designed according to a concept, the details are logically comprehensible and there is an explanation to everything!
Not only is this important during the planning period but also during execution!
Function - Form
Every physical manifestation depends on the harmony of these two principles. Neither can go to the other's expense and neither can be.
A ground plan is a basic functional unit, but it only works well if it formally. Stands its ground. Proportional, orderly, lifelike.
Planning - Budget - Execution
When designing interiors, the harmony of the space and the objects within it, just like the quality of its execution, are essential.
A decorative lamp, a piece of furniture or a vase, an aesthetically executed detail will determine the look and feel of the space to a great extent.
