The Secret to the Perfect Home Spa
In recent years, it has become increasingly fashionable to
complement our homes with a spa section, but unfortunately,
poorly planned and executed spa installations can pose several
problems.
When planning a spa, it is always worth considering what our
relaxation habits are like. How will we use it?
Do we enjoy large gatherings? Do we want to host sauna
parties where we can relax and socialize with friends? Or
perhaps sauna sessions and steam relaxation will
become part of our daily routine? It is important to
determine this already in the design phase of the house: if it can
be part of our daily routine, then it is important to
plan it in a place where it can be part of our
everyday life, and we don't have to go up and down
levels just to turn on the sauna equipment.
If we intend to use it daily and specifically for our own relaxation,
it is recommended to connect these wellness features to our
own bathroom, or even build the sauna with a
nice view where we can truly relax every day.
Handcrafted cladding is always the most defining
visual element- as it sets the tone for the rooms on a large
surface area, and durability also matters - that's why our clients chose
natural, authentic solid wood materials. Contrary to conventional
sauna trends, we implemented an innovative wood cladding with
vertical lines made of Canadian red cedar. For the design
and execution of the unique combined sauna, we integrated a
special rain shower system entirely into the ceiling cladding,
creating a seamless look.
The front and side of the sauna, as well as the shower wall, are
made of safety, tempered, bronze glass panels secured in
aluminum profiles.
The most important element of the unique interior design is the
Canadian red cedar cladding cut at a 45-degree angle, creating harmony between the wet
rooms and the sauna style.
